By using either the Valido software, any associated documentation or this website you agree to these Terms and Conditions.  We may at our discretion vary these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.  Should any dispute arise regarding these Terms and Conditions the dispute will be resolved under the laws of the United Kingdom.

This section explains what information we will collect about you and how we will use it.

We will collect information about you if you purchase software from us via our website.  We will collect the trading name, address, telephone number and email of your company.  To aid in supporting the product we will also collect the name, telephone number and email of suitable contacts within your company.  We will collect information about your VAT Registration status, if appropriate, to enable us to produce accurate invoices and records for taxation purposes.  We may use the contact information collected to inform you of changes or developments in our products or to ask for feedback in order to improve our products.

We may share your information with third parties who process information on our behalf for website hosting or payment collection.  We will ensure the information shared is the minimum information necessary to provide these functions and we will endeavour to ensure they keep all such information secure.

We will disclose information to relevant authorities if required to do so by law.  Other than that we will not provide any of the information we collect about you with any other company, either within or outside the UK.

Our policy on software piracy

Software is our primary business and we firmly believe that all forms of software piracy are unacceptable.  We will consider all possible forms of legal redress against anyone found to be deliberately using illegal copies of our software and also against anyone providing them with the means to do this.

Once you have purchased software from us it will require activation before it can be used.  This activation process will require that all computers using the PC-based elements of our software remain internet-enabled.
